Bluestone Pool Services is a local, family-run pool company serving Leander and the northwest Austin corridor since 2023. We clean, maintain, and repair residential and commercial pools, and we are fully insured.
Who we are
We started Bluestone in 2023 with a simple observation: most people who are unhappy with their pool company are not unhappy about the cleaning. They are unhappy because nobody showed up when they said they would, or because they never knew what was actually happening with their pool. We are based in Leander, and we intentionally stay in this corridor. We are not trying to cover the whole metro. We would rather serve fourteen cities properly than thirty badly, because a pool company stretched too thin is always late somewhere.
How we work
Three things, and they are not complicated.
We show up on the day we said we would. You get a set service day and a text before we head over. That sounds like a low bar. It is the single most common reason people leave their previous pool company.
You get a photo report after every visit. Your chemical readings, what we did, and anything we noticed. Nothing about your pool should be a mystery, including whether we came.
We tell you the truth about repairs. If something can wait, we say it can wait. If a part can be cleaned rather than replaced, we clean it. If your expensive-sounding problem is a cheap one, you will hear that from us, even though the bigger job was available.
What we actually do
We handle the whole pool, not just the easy parts. Weekly cleaning is the backbone of what we do, and most of our clients are on it.
Beyond that, we run maintenance plans, recover green pools, and handle equipment repair across pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, and lights.
We also serve HOA and apartment pools across the corridor, which have a different rhythm and a different set of pressures than a backyard pool.
Why we are fussy about the corridor
Pools in Central Texas are not like pools elsewhere, and a company that treats them the same way gets it wrong.
Our water is hard, so calcium scales build up on tile, heaters, and salt cells relentlessly. Our season runs long, so equipment accumulates hours far faster than the manufacturers assumed, and algae never really rests. Our spring buries filters in cedar and oak pollen. And our summer sun destroys chlorine so fast that the stabilizer becomes the difference between a manageable pool and a losing battle.
Knowing that is most of the job. It is why we push weekly service rather than biweekly, why we check salt cells before owners think to ask, and why we are blunt about shade over an equipment pad.
